United Petfood has announced the purchase of a manufacturing facility in Mishawaka, Indiana, from Wellness Pet Company. It is United Petfood's first manufacturing facility in the United States and a key step in solidifying its presence in this important market, United Petfood said. Wellness Pet will relocate production to another facility.
"We are excited to take our first steps into the US market with the acquisition of the Mishawaka facility. The acquisition will allow us to better serve our American customers with locally produced, high-quality pet food," said Elodie Fleury, United Petfood Vice President Americas.
